WHAT IS SCULPSURE™ & HOW DOES IT WORK?
SculpSure™ is a specialized non-invasive laser treatment designed to permanently eliminate fat cells from specific areas of the body through a process called WarmSculpting™.
When the laser is applied to the skin, it heats the fat cells underneath, damaging them without injuring the skin. Over the next few months, your body naturally disposes of the fat cells. The fat cells will not regenerate, leaving the treatment area looking leaner.
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM YOUR BODY CONTOURING APPOINTMENT
During our consultation, we will discuss your goals, your lifestyle, and your expectations for SculpSure™ treatment. We’ll schedule your first appointment if we feel that SculpSure™ is the best course of treatment for you.
You will likely require multiple treatments to get the results you are looking for. We will work with you to build the most effective treatment plan for your needs.
It will take some time for your body to dispose of the damaged fat cells, so it may take several weeks to see your results. Patients typically see results after 12 weeks or so.
You may notice some bruising, stiffness, or swelling after your treatment. This should dissipate after a few weeks. In the meantime, you can try massaging the treatment area to alleviate some of the stiffness.
Treatments typically last approximately 25 minutes. When we first apply the device to the treatment area, you will probably feel a gentle cooling sensation. This cooling effect continues throughout your treatment to keep your skin comfortable.
You may feel a warm or tingling sensation deep inside the treatment area. This is totally normal, and most patients find it only mildly irritating, not painful.
After your treatment, we will massage the treatment area and provide you with instructions on how to care for the treatment area.
